I have plumbed with cast iron pipe, galvanized pipe, copper pipe, and plastic pipe. By far the easiest plumbing I have every done was today using the SharkBite system. SharkBite fittings can be found at Home Depot, WalMart, and other plumbing supply places. The SharkBite system works with copper, plastic, and flex pipe.

You merely cut the copper pipe, smooth the end, making sure that it is square, and push the copper pipe into the SharkBite fitting. Nothing could be easier. A great non-leaking connection almost instantaneously! Unbelievably easy and simple! A great invention!!
