Left Verizon
My first cell phone was from Verizon. It worked well, a Motorola brick phone! My phone cost was $0.01 for the phone with a two year contract at $21.00 per month. As cell phones got better, I would update for next to nothing as Verizon always had a sale or incentive to try another better phone to get you to sign up for another two year contract. After Blackberrys had been out for quite a while, I got a Curve, later upgraded to a Bold. Unfortunately, Verizon kept raising the cost of the two year contract until I was paying $120.00 per month. My Blackberry was changed to an LG VX9200 from eBay reducing the cost to $57.77 per month for the two year contract. Still way too much for a DUMB phone like the LG!!! To have stayed with Verizon would have cost over $250 for the phone and more than $120 per month!! So NOT DOING THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now I have an HTC EVO 3D from Virgin Mobile for $35.00 per month, no contract needed, for my purposes the coverage is every bit as good as the Verizon coverage. It works where I am and where I go!!! The savings will completely pay for my HTC cost in 4.5 months!!! The HTC is very close to the Galaxy SIII in useability and what is able to do!! WiFi reduces the data use to next to nothing!!! A vastly better deal than Verizon!!! Too bad Verizon had to get so greedy!!!
