Annoying
My Canon EOS 30D started giving err=99. The camera was sent to Canon for repair, $201 later the camera was repaired. It seems that Canon's 100,000 cycle shutter could only last for 10,000 cycles. Very annoying indeed!!
My camera has been very well cared for without any abuse of any kind!! It would appear that the Canon engineers did not do a very good job with the shutter.
